Hanging out with new friends, developing leadership skills,
challenging yourself and experiencing a variety of outdoor
adventures are just a few of the opportunities MSA has to
offer.
MSA is not for everyone. MSAers must bring enthusiasm,
determination, and a keen mind to these intense, jam packed
day camp sessions. Each five-day session includes team
building challenges, off-site trips, swimming, boating, and
discussions on life and faith. MSAers will reap the rewards
of challenging themselves and working together with others.
You in?
Chesapeake Adventure
We'll check out the wild side of Wye Island and experience local waters in a variety of different ways; Sailing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Seining, and more!
Climb On!
Floating down a lazy river is a great way to beat the heat—and spending a day trying the different challenges at a climbing gym is cool!
Life is Short, Paddle Hard
Extended paddles on the waters around CW and a trip to Harper’s Ferry for whitewater rafting make this a serious adventure! Working together on the water is a must; how can we work together in our lives?
Outdoor Living Skills
A challenging day at a High Ropes Course and a Day at Assateague Island National Seashore. Growth will come from these challenges and others as we work together during this high intensity session.

Land and Sea Challenges
An overnight at CW, a hike on the Appalachian Trail and plenty of time for swimming and paddling make the great outdoors great! Learn camping and other outdoor living skills, including “leave no trace principles.
Environmental Leadership
Trips to nature preserves and local sanctuaries will help us learn more about the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay. We’ll explore creeks, streams, waves and waterfalls by boat and by foot learning to appreciate the Bay in a whole new way!
Beach and Belay!
During this fun session, MSAers will check out several different area beaches including Terrapin Park, Assateague Island, and spend an afternoon at the climbing gym to beat the heat and learn teamwork skills on belay!
All MSA Sessions include time at Camp Wright, playing games, participating in Archery, swimming, teambuilding, crafts and more. Different trips are scheduled and parents are notified of trips on the first day of each session.
