Learning to live together in a Christian way...
As a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Easton, Camp Wright provides Day and Resident camp programs for over 1,475 campers each summer. Our programs include a variety of experiences and activities to encourage campers' social, physical, mental and spiritual growth. We pride ourselves on fostering strong connections for all participants in our programs. Campers, staff, and others are encouraged to connect deeply with God, with others, with themselves and the beautiful natural world around them.

Our beautiful 140 acre facility on Kent Island remains a peaceful place apart from a busy world all while being convenient to Baltimore, Washington, DC, Easton, Salisbury and surrounding areas. Our rustic nature is important to our program, no cell phones, no tablets, limited electricity and tons of Chesapeake Bay Breezes.
Camp activities include boating, sports & games (think gaga, nine square, capture the flag, counselor hunt and more!), swimming, creative arts, nature exploration, environmental activities, and whatever our amazing staff can dream up! Activities in small and large groups, meal times in cabin groups, and cabin time all are opportunities for friendship, learning, and fun.

Our programs are designed to encourage campers to live and to play in an open community where they can explore life on the Chesapeake Bay, discover new aspects of their faith and learn more about themselves and one another. Individuals of all faiths are welcome and encouraged to join us at Camp Wright. Please contact us if you would like more information.
Camp Wright's Core Values
-
Camp Wright is an accepting, open Christian community of faith, focused on young people, rooted in place, spirit, and tradition.
-
We welcome joy, wonder, and fun in our work, our program, and our lives.
-
Camp Wright deeply respects each participant in our program and provides resources to make meaningful connections with others, with God and with the natural world.
-
Faith experiences at Camp Wright are transformative and have positive impacts on personal growth and life outside of camp.
-
Camp Wright is committed to the growth and development of all participants, including staff: specific God given gifts and talents are recognized, named and encouraged in each individual.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Camp Wright is committed to engaging in equitable practices in all of our programming. Our work as a camping community is to acknowledge and resist systems that allow for oppression and disenfranchisement. Our goal is to honor the diverse backgrounds of our campers, staff, and other participants so that we may all find meaningful ways to participate in community. People of all races, colors, religions, creeds, sexes, gender identities, national origins, abilities, and sexual orientations are welcome.
