PARENT INFORMATION

Thank You!

Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your children.  At Camp Wright, we believe that all children deserve to have positive, formative camp experiences and we are committed to partnering with families to ensure a healthy, happy experience for our campers.  If you have questions about our program, our policies or procedures, please let us know and we will be happy to provide more information.  If you have special information about your child, their likes and dislikes, the way they learn and interact with others, their nervousness about camp or other information, please feel free to share that with us ahead of your child's session.  Thanks again; we'll see you this summer!

Scholarships and Tuition Assistance

At Camp Wright, we believe that the camp experience should be accessible to all children, regardless of their financial situation. The scholarship application is found as a part of the application during online registration.

Each year, we grant over $17,000 in scholarship support to day and overnight campers.  Please reach out to our registrar with questions about our scholarship program.

If you would like to give the gift of camp by donating to our scholarship fund, you may do so here.

JH Bratton Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Fund

The JH Bratton Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Fund has been established to celebrate the ongoing advancement and inclusion of people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring they always have open arms and open doors at Camp Wright. The fund supports camp scholarships for minority and historically marginalized campers who otherwise may not have access to the Camp Wright experience.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are paramount to the future success of Camp Wright and the JH Bratton Fund is a part of our collective work to support programs, scholarships, and education that advance our mission to offer welcome and connection to all.

To apply for a JHB DEI Scholarship, complete the scholarship application as a part of online registration and indicate Bratton Fund under "other conditions. "

Bunk Requests

Making new friends is a central part of the Camp Wright experience. To encourage new friendships, we avoid bunking large groups of friends together. When assigning cabins, we can consider one mutual bunkmate request per camper. Both campers must request each other via our Bunkmate Request form. Cabins are assigned according to age and gender, and bunkmate requests are not guaranteed.

The Bunkmate Request form is available through the online registration process.
